Metro: The biggest DLC expansion for Far Cry 4 introduces a new map and new enemies, but is it enough to make you want to return to Kyrat? One of the prevailing theories about the next Far Cry is that Ubisoft will go with a more fantastical setting. Not just with the promised Blood Dragon-esque spin-off but the actual mainline Far Cry 5. Theres no real evidence that thats what theyre considering, but the assumption is based on the fact that the series has already covered most of the more obvious settings (tropical island, African savannah, and snowy tundra) and theres not many different kinds of wildernesses left that would be as distinctive.

Analog Addiction writes, "I absolutely loved Far Cry 4 when it was released late last year. The more vertical, mountainous landscape was a nice change from the tropical jungles of Far Cry 3, the missions never felt the same and the game improved on its predecessor in pretty much every area. I was hoping Valley of the Yetis, the final piece of downloadable content (DLC) for Far Cry 4, would be more of the same; cool, unique story missions, perhaps some outposts to capture, and a mysterious new Yeti mystery to uncover. As it turns out, Valley of the Yetis is a bit of a disappointment in most areas. If anything, it pin points why Far Cry 4 was such an amazing game its creative mission design (among other things)."
